We couldn't agree more. Come visit your local library. We are integral part of our wonderful #HeartlandHometown. We offer library materials (books, DVDs & Blu-Ray) for check out. We also have Wi-Fi access and computer access for free. For a minimal fee, we have fax and copy services available. As part of our free weekly programming we offer: Children's Storytime, Family Board Game Day, and Tai Chi.
Additional programs and classes throughout the year include, but are not limited to:

- $1 Movie Night

We are always willing to help you help yourself.
We offer Family Movie Night on select nights. It is $1 at the door, with concessions available. Check out our Facebook page formore information movie dates, times and titles. Proceeds benefit Mounds Friends of the Library.
The Library offers a library material delivery program for the home-bound patron within city limits. This is a free service. Contact the Library for more information.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to get a library card?
Our librarian will be able to supply you with a new library card the same day you apply, once application is completed and entered into the system. Library cards are free for th first on. Replacement cards are $5.00.
Are electronic books available?
No, not at this time. We are looking at our options for e-books at a future date.
Does the Library have
We do offer "story time" for younger children on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. with a story, activity or craft and snack.
What are your hours of operation?
The library is open Monday-Thursday, 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and closed 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. for lunch. We are closed Friday - Sunday and federal holidays. Closures are listed on our Facebook page.
Does the Library have an online catalog that I can browse?
We do offer an online catalog through the link below. Your ID is your library card number and your password is your last name. You may also reserve/hold a book through this system once you log in.
